Black & White is a classic, smooth, and accessible blended Scotch whisky, famous for its iconic black and white terrier dogs on the label. It's known for being light, fresh, and easy to drink, making it a popular choice worldwide.

Originally created by James Buchanan in the late 19th century (initially called "Buchanan's Blend"), Black & White Blended Scotch Whisky quickly gained popularity for its consistent quality and lighter style. Renamed "Black & White" after customers began asking for it based on its distinctive black bottle and white label (and later, the iconic Scottish Terrier and West Highland White Terrier adopted as mascots), it's a blend of fine grain whiskies and a high proportion of quality malt whiskies. The profile is deliberately crafted to be clean, fresh, and subtly sweet with grassy notes and a smooth finish, avoiding heavy peat or overpowering oak. Owned by Diageo today, Black & White remains a globally recognized brand, valued for its heritage, approachable character, and versatility, whether enjoyed neat, with water or soda, or in simple cocktails.
