Glengarry is a smooth, refined Scotch whisky range from the Highlands, offering both blended and single malt expressions. Known for its distinctive character, it often presents notes of fruit, toffee, and a subtle hint of peat.

Glengarry whisky, produced by the Loch Lomond Group, embodies the spirit of the Scottish Highlands. The brand takes its name and inspiration from the Glengarry military cap, a symbol of Scottish pride and heritage. The range includes a versatile Highland Blended Scotch Whisky and various Single Malts, including a 12-Year-Old expression. The Highland Blended Scotch Whisky is crafted from a blend of the finest Scottish grain and malt whiskies, matured in oak barrels. This results in an exceptionally smooth and approachable spirit, balancing fruity sweetness with a mild peaty finish. Glengarry Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, on the other hand, are matured in the finest oak casks, developing a refined taste with distinctive background notes of smoke and peat, complemented by barley sweetness, pear, and vanilla. The 12-Year-Old Single Malt, in particular, is noted for its exceptional balance, showcasing floral notes of peach blossom, pear, golden barley, and vanilla, achieved through maturation in three types of casks. Glengarry whiskies are appreciated for their balanced alcohol content and complex flavor profiles, making them suitable for various drinking preferences.

Interesting Facts

The Glengarry brand is named after Alexander Ranaldson MacDonnell of Glengarry, a historical Highland clan chieftain who adopted the traditional "Glengarry bonnet" in 1794 for his regiment.

Glengarry whisky is produced at the Loch Lomond distillery, which has a unique setup allowing it to produce both grain and malt whisky on the same site.
