Royal Brackla 12 Year
A rich and exuberant Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured for 12 years and finished in Oloroso sherry casks, offering notes of ripe peaches, black cherries, toasted almonds, and demerara sugar. Known as "The Drink Divine" and the first distillery in Scotland to receive a Royal Warrant.
Royal Brackla 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a distinguished spirit hailing from the Royal Brackla Distillery, established in 1812 and the first to be granted a Royal Warrant in 1833 by King William IV. This 12-year-old expression is crafted from 100% malted barley and matured in a combination of first-fill, refill, and re-charred American oak casks before a final finishing period in the finest Oloroso sherry casks. This maturation process imparts a rich and complex character, marrying the bright distillery style with the full-bodied spice of Oloroso sherry. The result is a smooth and inviting dram with a delightful interplay of fruit, nut, and sweet notes. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration or added coloring, this whisky offers a genuine and full-flavored experience.
